CodeHealer 3.1, released in February 2016, is a highly
efficient, powerful and easy to use program source code analysis and
verification tool that will help find and fix a significant number of
programming bugs, mistakes and inconsistencies in Delphi programs before
they are released.
Version 3.1 contains a number of new features and improvements, including full support
for Embarcadero Studio XE8 and 10 Seattle as well as other enhancements and fixes. For more

This download is an evaluation (trial) version that is fully functional
but will only run for a period of 30 days from the date of installation,
and will only display and export the first five items in each analysis report.
Full documentation is included in both HTML Help and PDF format, and the
integrated uninstall program will automatically remove all traces of
CodeHealer if so desired.
FinalBuilder versions 4.1 and later (
www.finalbuilder.com
) include a detailed CodeHealer Action in the Source Code Tools Action Group,
along with the associated Quick Help and Help file information, so have no need
for this ZIP file.
Users of FinalBuilder versions 3.0 through to 4.0 can download and
install this ZIP file to add the same CodeHealer Action to their Source
Code Tools Action Group.
SOCKShell 1.3, released in April 2004, adds a number
of new totals to the results of the Pascal Analysis, and adds a new
predefined menu option to create a new folder in the current folder. It
also contains more improvements to the context menus and the installation
program, and fixes a few small compatibility problems that were reported
in 1.2.
1.3 also adds more transparent checks for a number of Windows Explorer
replacements in order to automatically disable its use of graphical menu
items. This is necessary because certain Explorer replacements do not
handle owner drawn menus correctly, the symptom of which was typically an
empty space on the context menu when it was displayed.
Microsoft Windows Update MS06-105 is a security patch that supposedly tightens
up the security of Windows Explorer Extensions by only allowing certain known extensions to load,
and unfortunately SOCKShell is not yet in that list. We've found here that it also breaks the
PGPdisk Shell Extension, FileTargets and the Windows Shell DocObject Viewer at a minimum, so
the issue is not specific to SOCKShell.
Uninstalling the MS06-105 patch will allow SOCKShell (and many other extensions) so run again,
but this is obviously not a long term solution, so current SOCKShell users can download the following
Zipped .Reg file that
will add the required Registry key to add SOCKShell to the list of approved extensions.
Please refer to the ReadMe.txt file that is contained inside the Zip file for more details and links
to the Microsoft documentation explaining what they are trying to do. To install the fix simply
download the file, unzip it, and double click on the .Reg file it contains. Note that certain AntiVirus
and Anti-SpyWare software may warn against, or even prevent, running .Reg files, so you may find it
necessary to load the .Reg file into a text editor and then manually set the Registry key yourself.
We have also updated the SOCKShell 1.3 installer to automatically add the required Registry key at
installation time, so this should not be a problem for new SOCKShell users going forward.
SOCKShell requires at least version 4.71 of the
Microsoft Common Controls. If your system is still running an older
version, SOCKShell will advise you to download and install the following
Microsoft update. Please note that there is no need to download
this update unless SOCKShell specifically instructs you to do so.
